FAMILY EXTRAVAGANZA FOR SEASON FINALE AT HAMILTON PARK RACECOURSE
A bank holiday bonanza of family entertainment draws another fantastic season at Hamilton Park Racecourse to a close next week.
Youngsters and their parents are set to descend on the Lanarkshire venue in their thousands for the Les Hoey MBE Dreammaker Foundation Family Raceday on Monday 25 September.
The event will see a host of free entertainment off the track including giant candy circus slide, inflatable laser tag, bungee trampolines, face painting, large ball pool, avalanche wall, racing simulator, inflatable chip shot golf and a coconut shy and hoopla.
Tickets are a bargain at only £13 in advance with under 18s free, offering children and their families a great day out this September holiday Monday.
On the track another exciting season will reach its conclusion as the champion owner, trainer and jockey are all crowned. The feature race is the £26,000 Class 2 British Stallions Studs Clyde EBF Conditions Stakes. The race has been won by popular sprinters such as Knot In Wood, Eton Rifles and Quest For Success in past years.
Vivien Currie, Chief Executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, said: “We have had another wonderful season here at Hamilton Park Racecourse and are really looking forward to welcoming families from across the country to join the celebrations at our fantastic finale.
“We have some truly exciting action on the track as the season draws to a close and an array of free fun-filled children’s activities off it.”
The Les Hoey MBE Dreammaker Foundation Family Raceday gets underway with gates opening at 12pm – the first race takes place at 1.40pm.
