ALEAS produced a good performance to take the Listed British Stallions Studs EBF Glasgow Stakes and complete a treble for jockey Danny Tudhope.

Sent on fully two furlongs out, the Ralph Beckett-trained 7/2 chance saw off Title by three-quarters of a length in the prestigious 1m 3f contest.

Tudhope said: "For one reason or another he didn't seem to produce his best at Goodwood last time but Mr Beckett said to be pretty positive on him tonight. I did ride him more forward and he gave me a very nice feel and stayed on strongly. I think he could have a bright future as he still has loads of scope."

Commanche Falls, trained by Michael Dods and sent off at 5/1, landed a thrilling finish to the Heineken UK Scottish Stewards' Cup when just pipping Music Society by a nose.

Connor Beasley, who has been on board for all of the gelding's seven wins, said: "I wasn't sure if we'd won or not but he's been an amazing horse. We still don't know how good he can be but he's certainly versatile and goes on any ground. I've no idea where he'll go next but Mr Dods is a trainer who always has a plan so it will be interesting to find out."
