RACING TV’s GORDON BROWN podcast racing preview for the Well-Man Cars Community Raceday

Lucinda Russell is after more Hamilton Park success on Wednesday when she saddles four runners at the South Lanarkshire venue. Along with Richard Fahey and Iain Jardine, the dual-Grand National winning handler has recorded four winners at the track already this year. She is double-handed as she starts the day with Honda and two-time course scorer Jaminoz in the Scottish Racing Supporting Racingwithpride Handicap. Spanish Hustle, trained by Jim Goldie, bids to land the 1m 3f contest for a second year running, this time with Kaiya Fraser in the saddle. Twelve months ago, partnered by Ben Curtis, the Renfrewshire raider gained the first of his three course and distance wins by half a length as a 10-1 chance. Next up for Russell is John L Sullivan in the 'Hamiltons Largest Private Hire Taxi Company' Handicap. Carrying the colours of Claymore Racing, the three-year-old has a 6lb penalty for a cosy recent success at Wetherby under todays pilot Oisin Orr. Her final runner is two-time Ayr winner Banner Road in the Cleanstay At Hampton by Hilton Bothwell Castle Fillies Handicap. The mare sports the colours of Jimmy Long, who has been crowned leading owner at Hamilton Park on several occasions.
