Hamilton Park has today announced that Scottish band Tide Lines will perform at the South Lanarkshire resort at the Glasgow Stakes Centenary Racenight on Friday 17th July 2026.

The racenight takes place on the same mid-July double fixture as Hamilton Park’s very first opening racedays in 1926, making the evening a centrepiece of the venue’s 100th anniversary season and promising to be one of the most memorable evenings in the Racecourse’s history.

Tide Lines, known for their anthemic indie folk melodies and three Scottish number one albums featuring tracks such as Far Side of the World and Heroes, will take to the stage following the final race. 2026 marks the band’s 10-year anniversary, and their set will feature songs from their fourth album, Glasgow Love Story (2025), alongside highlights from across their decade-long career. Renowned for their energetic live shows, Tide Lines bring together the sweeping romance of their Highlands roots with the pulse and heart of Glasgow, promising an unforgettable evening for racegoers.

Alongside the live music, the Friday evening meeting is one of the most valuable racing fixtures of Hamilton Park’s season, and showcases some of the best flat racing anywhere in Scotland. The Scottish Stewards’ Cup and The British Stallion Studs EBF Glasgow Stakes are the evenings highlights, with the latter standing as Hamilton Park’s highest-grade race of the year as well as offering record prize money of £80,000. Last year’s winner, Nahraan, secured victory under British Champion Jockey Oisin Murphy for Trainer John & Thady Gosden and Owner Prince A A Faisal and this year’s winner of the highly competitive feature race will be presented with the impressive Glasgow Trophy.

Ashley Moon, Racecourse Managing Director at Hamilton Park, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Tide Lines to Hamilton Park this summer. Their incredible energy makes them the perfect act to round off our centenary racenight, ensuring racegoers enjoy an unforgettable evening both on and off the track”.
