Our new, onsite hotel is set to receive a visit from royalty next month.

HRH The Princess Royal will visit Hampton by Hilton Hamilton Park on 26th September to mark the new hotel’s opening.

Situated within the grounds of Hamilton Park Racecourse, the hotel first opened its doors to guests on 31 July. It is the first hotel to adjoin the racecourse in its 90-year history and is the latest addition to the growing Hampton by Hilton global portfolio in nearly 30 countries and territories.

HRH The Princess Royal will be given a tour of the 118-room hotel, followed by a visit to the racecourse.

Also attending on the day will be those who were involved in the £10m development of the hotel, including designers, architects, construction partners, as well as some well-known names in racing who have a particular affiliation with Hamilton Park Racecourse.

Guests will also get the chance to hear from Vivien Currie, Chief Executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, who drove forward plans for the hotel.

Vivien said: “We’re honoured that HRH The Princess Royal will join us for this incredible milestone in the racecourse’s history, particularly as she has previously ridden here as a jockey and also visited to mark the renovation of the grandstand in 1992.

“This has been a monumental project for us and heralds a new era for Hamilton Park Racecourse, so we look forward to marking the hotel opening in such a special way.”

Hampton by Hilton Hamilton Park has been hailed as a fantastic boost to the local economy, with a team of 30 staff members hired, 95% of whom live in the area.

The hotel features a restaurant, a bar and a small fitness centre for residents, as well as panoramic views of Hamilton Park Racecourse and 24-hour facilities for visitors to the racecourse for weddings, events, and conferences.

Rooms at the hotel can be booked online at www.hamptonhamiltonpark.hamptonbyhilton.com.
