Fresh from his breakthrough Group success at Goodwood, Kaiya Fraser becomes the 24th different jockey to partner Hamilton Park standing-dish Iris Dancer on the ever-popular Ladies Night card. Trained by Tristan Davidson in Cumbria, the mare bids for a record-extending thirteenth course win in the Blitz Cleaning Commercial Cleaning Handicap over five-furlongs, a trip she has never won at in the past. “She won at Ripon at six-furlongs before she came to me and all her wins at Hamilton have also been at that trip,” Davidson said. “It will be her first run at five since she was second at Pontefract on her comeback run for the season in April and it’s just a case of finding races for her. “When she first came to us we ran her at five-furlongs three times at Hamilton and she was a close second every time, including once by just a short-head. She certainly loves the track so we’ll just see how it pans out.” Currently lying second to Iris Dancer with nine Hamilton Park wins to his name, is Jordan Electrics, who also tackles the minimum trip in the Cube Glass ‘Soba’ Handicap. The course record-holder on the clock over five and six-furlongs, he gained his first victory in nearly two years when scoring at Ayr twelve-days ago.
