LEADING ONLINE BOOKMAKER ANNOUNCED AS SPONSOR FOR SUNDAY 2 MAY 2021

Hamilton Park is delighted to reveal that leading online bookmaker, MansionBet, has signed up to a new partnership which will see them showcased as title sponsors of the racecourse’s first fixture of the new season this May bank holiday weekend.

The newly named MansionBet Raceday takes place on Sunday 2 May, with the full seven race card supported by MansionBet. The highly anticipated feature races of the day, the MansionBet Beaten by a Head Buttonhook Handicap Stakes and the MansionBet Best Odds Guaranteed EBF Tangerine Trees Conditions Stakes are set to be broadcast live across the UK on ITV1, STV and Racing TV, alongside coverage of the 1000 Guineas from Newmarket, making this one of the most highly anticipated weekends in British Racing.

MansionBet has a rich history of sponsoring sporting teams and major events, and football fans will be familiar with them already, as they have been sponsors of both Premier League and English Football League teams. Their passion to invest in supporting UK grown talent has seen them put their name to horse races throughout the UK.

In 2018, MansionBet entered the world of horse racing partnerships by sponsoring two high profile races at the Dante Festival at York. Later that same year, they announced that they would be putting their name behind another 38 UK race meetings, further cementing their support of the UK horse racing scene. In early 2020, MansionBet named leading jockey Hayley Turner OBE as its Horse Racing ambassador, and more recently, at the beginning of this year, the 2020 Champion Jumps Jockey Brian Hughes.

Vivien Currie MBE, Chief Executive at Hamilton Park, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have MansionBet, such a prominent brand, join us as new sponsors of our opening fixture of the year. With live coverage of our feature races on ITV and STV as well as the full day being broadcast on Racing TV, we’re confident that the day will provide fantastic exposure for our new partners. Although we are unable to welcome racegoers to this race meeting, there will be plenty of opportunities for racing fans to engage with our new sponsor digitally. There is already a great synergy between Hamilton Park and MansionBet, and we have found the team to be extremely professional and very enthusiastic. By unveiling this great new partnership for the start of the new season, we are also unveiling it for an amazing partnership for the future.”

Dana Bocker, Head of Integrated Marketing at MansionBet, added: “With over 60 sponsored fixtures at 27 venues across the UK this year, we are committed to expanding our support for British horse racing and we are delighted to add Hamilton Park to our list sponsored racing fixtures. With shared coverage on ITV and STV on a key day for racing fans, the partnership further strengthens our awareness among our target audience.”
