ANDREW MULLEN was the jockey to follow at Hamilton Park on Sunday as he booted home a treble aboard Bringbackmemories, Iris Dancer and Lunacy. “I’ve had trebles before and even a four-timer,” the East Lothian jockey said. “Irish Dancer loves it here and that’s the fifth time she’s come up that hill in front with me board on four occasions.

“Bringbackmemories stuck on well in the selling race and he stays well as he’s a winning hurdler he should give his owners plenty of fun.” Burj Malinka recorded a third course win under Connor Murtagh in the William Cairns Memorial Celebrations Handicap. “He enjoyed being back here although it wasn’t the longer trip at Thirsk that beat him last time,” said the winning jockey. “He’s winning today at five but he will probably run again at seven furlongs at some point.”

On Monday, three-time Hamilton Park scorer Where’s Jeff, partnered by Joanna Mason, faces four rivals in the Alexander Braidwood & Sons Blantyre Ltd Veterans Handicap.
The opposition is headed by Jim Goldie’s Ayr Poet, who is fresh from a victory at Ayr just three days ago.
