Previous course winner Airspeed looks the one to beat in the £20,000 feature race on Hamilton Park twilight card on Wednesday evening. The Karl-Burke-trained top-weight, who stuck in maiden company at the South Lanarkshire venue in July, faces six rivals in the Leisure Connect WIFI  Approved Suppliers 2-Y-O Series Final Nursery Handicap. Since that all-the-way success, he has been pipped by a short-head in a Haydock Park nursery and also chased home a smart prospect at Carlisle last time. Opposition to Airspeed include Alice Haynes' Newmarket raider Shazani and Charlie Johnstons Ziggy's Ariel, who both made all over course and distance in June and July respectively. The fixture opens with two course and distance winners, Milford and Up The Clarets, lining-up in the Leisure Connct EBF Restricted Novice Stakes. Milford, who sports a first-time visor, is out of an unraced half-sister to Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso and is one of three runners in the race for Middleham handler Karl Burke. The is plenty of Hamilton Park form on offer in the PMA Recruitment Services & WE Contracts Fillies' Handicap. Rock Melody, Catherine Choi, Slainte Mhath, Lady Celia and Iris Dancer have won a total of 15 races between the latter, trained in Cumbria by Tristian Davidson, leading the way with six.
