Jordan Electrics, who holds the Hamilton Park six-furlong

track record, blitzed home in the Patersons Of Greenoakhill Handicap over five-furlongs on the Greenversity Saints & Sinners night card.

Trained by Jim Goldie and ridden by Paul Mulrennan, he pipped Digital by in a race run at a furious pace from start to finish.

“Paul said he really wanted it tonight and he’s a sprinter that just loves winning,” Goldie said. “He wasn’t away as quick as he can be but he was certainly kicking on at the finish. I’m sure he’ll be back here for more races.”

I Got Soul, trained by Kevin Ryan, was an impressive all-the-way winner of the Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park Hotel EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes for Callum Rodriguez.

“She’s very game and really stuck her neck out and had her ears flat back,” the winning jockey reported. “She came home strong and has plenty of pace but I wouldn’t be keen to got an extra furling just yet.7

Tafsir, partnered by Eireann Cagney and also trained by Jim Goldie, justified 13/8 favouritism in the Greenversity Saints & Sinners Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap.

“It’s always good to get a call from Mr Goldie to ride one of his horses,” Cagney said. “I was on one of the best horses in the races so it was pretty straightforward – I actually found myself in front a bit too soon and she was idling a bit.”
