Under 18s Race for Free at Hamilton Park

WHAT'S ON

The education charity Racing to School will be on hand with a host of interactive activities to give a fun and engaging introduction to horseracing for young people and their families. Step into the boots of a Jockey by trying your hand at race riding on the charity’s mechanical horses and immerse yourself in the thrill of a real race using their virtual reality headsets. Alongside this, visitors can take a step back in time with a “History of Hamilton Park” exhibition, offering a walk-through the decades and a chance to discover the racecourse’s rich heritage. The Soundsational Choir will provide live entertainment throughout the day, while Red’s Bar will host a special takeover from South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture, featuring a variety of fun children’s activities. We Love Lanarkshire will also be in attendance celebrating the local area, and guests can enjoy a unique, hands-on experience with Neil and his bees. Plus much much more still to be announced!
