Press Release: Dec 2019

Capital FM breakfast presenter and ‘I’m a Celebrity’ star Roman Kemp is set to headline Boë Violet Gin Ladies’ Night at Hamilton Park Racecourse next summer.

Fresh from starring in the latest series of the hit ITV show, the DJ and presenter has signed up to perform an exclusive DJ set at the Lanarkshire resort’s flagship event on Saturday 1 August. Roman, who has become a household name following his stint in the jungle, will be in more familiar surroundings behind the decks after the evening’s racing, having taken over the UK wide Capital FM breakfast show earlier this year.

Ashley Moon, Racecourse General Manager at Hamilton Park said: ‘We’re delighted that Roman is able to join us for what is our biggest night of the year. He was a real star of this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’ and proved incredibly popular with viewers. Roman is a fantastic DJ and we can’t wait to welcome him to the racecourse. Ladies’ Night is always a highlight of the year, full of glitz and glamour, and this year is no exception.”

The news comes following the announcement that the 5-star venue have renewed their partnership with Boë Scottish Gins for the sparkling event, whilst Deja Elite Boutique and Slater Menswear have also been confirmed as fashion partners for the evening.

Ashley added: “Ladies Night is getting bigger and bigger each year and we can’t wait to reveal more exciting details about what we have lined up for you in the weeks to come. It’s shaping up to be an unmissable night out. We’ve got a great evening of racing planned alongside celebrity performances and our ever-popular Best Dressed Lady and Slater Menswear Man of Style competitions, with thousands of pounds worth of prizes up for grabs on the night. With our discounted early bird tickets on sale now, it’s the best time to book.”

Early bird tickets are on sale now at www.hamilton-park.co.uk, starting from only £25 for adults, saving £10, if booked before 31 May 2020.
