Harley and Sea Mirage are set to renew their rivalry in the £40,000 feature race on Hamilton Park’s final evening card of the season. The pair, second and third over course and distance 22-days ago, clash again in the Molton Brown Luxury Fragrance Hamilton Park 2-Y-O Series Final Nursery Handicap. Sea Mirage has a 7lbs ‘pull’ at the weights for that three and a quarter length defeat, plus a further 5lbs if you take his partner Shay Farmer’s allowance into account. Harley is trained by Ed Bethell, while Kevin Ryan, the trainer of Sea Mirage, is also represented by top-weight Battle Fever, who has never been out of the first three in his four previous starts. With just four fixtures remaining in the South Lanarkshire track’s centenary campaign, Iris Dancer bids for a record-extending thirteenth win at her favourite venue in the Hampton By Hilton Hotel Handicap. Trained in Cumbria by Tristan Davidson, the evergreen eight-year-old has already posted three wins over course and distance in 2026. The opening Heineken Low & No Bar EBF Maiden Stakes could go to Sod Hall Lane, who outran his odds when bumping in a subsequent winner on his debut at Musselburgh last month.
