IAIN Jardine fancies getting among the winners on Hamilton Park’s richest card of the season. Over £215,000 is up for grabs for this year’s third Sky Bet Sunday Series fixture and the Dumfriesshire trainer has declared five runners starting with Little Mi MI in the five-furlong handicap. He said: “She is a mare that came to us from Ireland last backend and notched up a few seconds. But she hit the ground running on New Year’s Day at Newcastle and has since won again there and then opened her account on turf at Ayr the other day. “She’s a few pounds higher in a much better race but the prize money is so good you have got to give it a go.” Rivals to Little Mi Mi include Jim Goldie’s Jordan Electrics, who holds the track records for both course and distance and six-furlongs. Jardine is double-handed in the six-furlong handicap with Jonny Concrete and Who Wants Me. He added: “Jonny Concrete ran a blinder at Chester recently and wasn’t beaten far into third. He won a Sky Bet race at Musselburgh last year so hopefully he will go close again. “Who Wants Me has yet to win and she had another small operation for her wind during the winter. She is owned by Ray Green, who bought her as a youngster and then gave her the name she has because he couldn’t sell her!” Stable claimer Mohammed Tabti partners Izzar for his boss in the concluding apprentice handicap and Jardine said: “Mohammed was off for a few weeks recently but won on his first ride back at Hamilton on Friday night. “He gets good tune out of Izzari and has won twice on him, including at Musselburgh on his first run of the year last season.” The ultra-competitive seven-race meeting is live on ITV Racing.
