Important Information – May Fixture Update

In light of current government guidance and to provide clarity for our valued customers, it is with great sadness that we can now confirm that our fixtures on Sunday 2 May and Friday 14 May will take place behind closed doors with no public in attendance.

With discussions ongoing with the relevant authorities, we had continued to hope that restrictions would have eased enough for us to be able to welcome members of the public for the start of our season, however it is clear from the indicative timeline provided by the Scottish Government that public events of this scale will not be possible before 17 May.

As we can no longer welcome racegoers to these fixtures we will be contacting all affected customers via email over the next few days.

Our fixtures scheduled after 17 May are still some time away, and therefore any bookings made for these meetings are still valid. We very much hope that our shared efforts to suppress the pandemic will soon enable us to once again welcome you all back to Hamilton Park.

Our entire team shares in the disappointment felt by everyone; racegoers, Annual Members and our valued partners who had planned to join us as we get the 2021 season underway, however rest assured we will be ready to welcome you back just as soon as it is safe to do so.

Given the unprecedented circumstances we all continue to face, we’d like to ask our customers to maintain their support for Hamilton Park, as we, like so many businesses, continue to face the challenges that are ahead of us.

For customers who have purchased tickets or hospitality for any raceday that is cancelled due to Covid-19, we are offering a direct transfer to an alternative 2021 fixture of their choice or the equivalent 2022 fixture.

We understand that not everyone will be in a position to offer us this much needed support, in which case we will honour a full refund within 28 days after the raceday as per our terms and conditions.

We will contact ticket holders via email in the coming days with information on how to process your choice, and we will strive to make refunds within 28 days from the cancelled event.
