Important Information – Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Racenight Update

In light of current Government guidance, it is with great sadness that we can now confirm that Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Racenight ft GBX Anthems, scheduled to take place on Friday 28th August 2020, will take place behind closed doors with no public in attendance. In addition, our fixture originally scheduled on Wednesday 2nd September 2020, will now take place on Tuesday 1st September 2020, again with no crowd in attendance.
We had continued to hope that the current situation would have eased enough for one of our biggest events of the year to go ahead, however it is clear that a public event of this scale will not be possible in the way we had planned.
Our entire team shares in the disappointment felt by everyone; racegoers, Annual Members and our valued partners, who had planned to join us for one of our most popular events of the season.
Our fixtures scheduled for later in September are still some time away, and therefore any bookings made for these meetings are still valid.
We will of course continue to be guided by the industry and government guidance for future fixtures and will provide updates as they become available.
Given the unprecedented circumstances we all continue to face, we’d like to ask our customers to maintain their support for Hamilton Park, as we, like so many businesses, continue to face the incredible economic challenges that are ahead of us.
For customers who have purchased tickets or hospitality for any raceday that is cancelled due to Covid-19, we are offering a direct ticket transfer to the equivalent 2021 fixture or an alternative 2021 fixture of their choice. With that in mind we are pleased to be able to confirm that George Bowie’s GBX Anthems will be returning to the equivalent fixture in 2021 on Friday 27th August.
We understand that not everyone will be in a position to offer us this much needed support, in which case we will honour a full refund within 28 days after the raceday as per our terms and conditions.
We will contact ticket holders via email in the coming weeks with information on how to process your choice, and the small team that are still working will strive to make refunds within 28 days from the cancelled event.
If you have booked hospitality, a member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible however this may not be the team member you have been dealing with previously.
