£250K INVESTMENT AHEAD OF NEW HAMILTON PARK SEASON
Trailblazing Hamilton Park Racecourse has unveiled a £250,000 investment in the venue ahead of an action-packed 2015 season.
The pioneering racecourse – the first in the UK to introduce large scale concerts on non-race nights – is leading the field again with free Wi-Fi for all visitors.
Hamilton Park is the first racecourse in Scotland, and the first small independent racecourse in the UK, to offer such high density free Wi-Fi to guests across the venue.
A host of further improvements are being made across the site, including upgrades to hospitality suites and the grandstand, installation of extra cover in case of poor weather, a new running rail, plus the careful refurbishment of the listed Weighing Room building.
The quarter of a million pound improvements will be enjoyed by visitors for the first time on Sunday 3 May when the racecourse launches its exciting 2015 season.
Vivien Kyles, Chief Executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, said: “We’re determined to offer guests the ultimate experience when they visit Hamilton Park Racecourse and this investment ahead of our new season is part of that commitment.
“We’re proud to lead the way with the services and events we offer to our visitors, and our complimentary Wi-Fi is a prime example of this.
“Combined with our improved hospitality areas, grandstand and facilities, this will add to a fantastic day or night out for guests and ensure Hamilton Park remains a first class venue.”
Hamilton Park Racecourse’s 2015 fixtures will begin on 3 May and include a host of spectacular events including the Super Six featuring the 50th anniversary of the famous Saints and Sinners Racenight, Alea Casino Ladies’ Night with TV star Mark Wright, and the celebrated Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Racenight.
