A record number of fillies in their finery descended on Hamilton Park Racecourse for the most glamorous night of the season on Saturday 1^st August – Ladies Night!

Nearly 10,000 guests saw the racecourse transformed as every area became a catwalk with the best dressed ladies in town strutting their stuff.

The sun shone on the action packed Alea Casino Ladies’ Night with former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ favourite Mark Wright working the crowd into a frenzy with an exclusive 90 minute DJ set following a night of thoroughbred action on the track.

Heads were turned by an array of fabulous fascinators and killer heels as the female guests competed for the title of Best Dressed Lady.

Off the track, Capital FM’s Des and Jennie compered a stylish fashion show, courtesy of Debenhams, before hosting the Best Dressed Lady competition, which saw almost 300 contestants strut their stuff on the catwalk. Linda Boyle from Bathgate was crowned the winner on the night in her red and cream off the shoulder dress and cream hatinator.

The thrilled winner walked away with £1,000 cash, a diamond necklace and earring set worth £1,500 courtesy of Pure Brilliant Diamonds, a £500 Debenhams voucher and dinner for four at the Alea Casino.
