Saturday 15 July – Highland Show Racenight
The parenting Holy Grail will be achieved this summer with our ultimate family day out. Mums and dads can earn some serious brownie points with the kids by treating them to a thrilling day full of action-packed activities, tons of fun, and some X-traordinary superstar guests to raise the excitement level to fever pitch.
X Factor stars Reggie N Bollie, Honey G and Ryan Lawrie will take to the stage alongside premier tribute band Little Mix Magic. The all-star line-up will offer show-stopping performances during the event, keeping the party atmosphere going from 12 noon until late for kids and adults alike. As well as busting a move and singing along to their favourite hits, families can enjoy a host of super cool Highland Show activities that kids big and small will love, with themed ‘zones’ created to keep the fun going all day long.
Highlights will include a petting zoo, pony rides, laser tag, bungee trampolines and a host of family-friendly games, including a coconut shy, hoopla, beat the goalie and Denver’s Den. Clydesdale Horses and the Mordor Gun Dogs will be in attendance on the day, and visitors can also enjoy live falconry, sheep and duck herding, wood carving, a gauntlet assault course and a display of farming and road vehicles.
Following the day’s live racing action and entertainment, there will be a live DJ set from Capital FM.
Away racing, which will be shown on screens around the site, will include Ascot, Chester, Newmarket and York in the afternoon with our own racing action starting around 6pm.
Saturday 5 August – Ladies’ Night
This summer’s Ladies’ Night has a star-studded line-up for the most glamourous night of the year, truly making it an event like no other. Superstar Capital FM DJ and presenter Marvin Humes, who hosts the ‘Big Top 40’ on Sundays and packs clubs across the UK and in Ibiza every summer will get the party jumping, while reigning X-Factor winner Matt Terry will recreate the type of performances which saw him steal the show on his way to grabbing the coveted talent show title. Returning favourite Jake Quickenden will once again delight fans after his sizzling performance last year.
As ever there will be the hotly contested best dressed lady competition hosted by Capital FM’s Des and Jennie with £1,000 cash up for grabs, with special guest judge Jake helping pick the winners whilst iconic Champagne house Moet and Chandon will bring added fizz to the event as they host their exclusive bar. There’ll be plenty on offer throughout the day to entertain the crowds including fabulous fashion shows and our shopping and pamper area in association with fashion partner Debenhams.
On screen away racing will feature action from Doncaster, Goodwood, Newmarket and Thirsk in the afternoon and Lingfield Park in the evening with our own live action getting underway around 5.40pm.

Saturday 2 September – Totepool Music Festival Racenight
Our fantastic Music Festival Racenight is back after a great first show in 2016 that saw the likes of Glasvegas and The View rock the Hamilton Park crowd. This year’s line-up of local bands and headliners are set to be announced in the coming weeks and will appear on stage before and after our own live racing, taking revellers long into the night.
