An exceptional opportunity now exists for an outstanding individual to take up the role of Operations Manager.  This is a pivotal appointment for an appropriately experienced professional to become an integral part of the management team reporting to the Head of Marketing & Operations, responsible for leading the operations function to deliver effective project management and maintenance of structures on site as well as controlling the planning, co-ordination and implementation of all race day operations.

The ideal applicant will have significant and successful career in events and/or facilities management, preferably gained within the sports or hospitality industries, and the demonstrable ability to robustly manage a departmental budget. Understanding of crowd dynamics, traffic management and spectator health and safety, supported by appropriate qualifications, will be important. The successful applicant will become an ambassador for Hamilton Park, and as such will be required to have enthusiasm for the Racecourse and the role, along with dynamism and initiative.
