Alfie Westwood 1935 – 2015

Westwood Lodge is now named in memory of Alfie Westwood who spent a lifetime in racing as an apprentice, jockey, work rider and travelling head lad.  His work was recognised in 2008 at the Betfair Pride of Racing Awards.

 

Situated within the picturesque grounds of Hamilton Park Racecourse and only minutes of Hamilton Town Centre, Westwood Lodge is the perfect location for group bookings of 6 persons or more, looking for great value accommodation.

Hamilton Park Racecourse’s central location gives easy access to all of Lanarkshire’s sporting and visitor facilities, including Strathclyde Country Park, Chatelherault, M&D’s and numerous other visitor attractions.  Only a short distance from Junction 5 M74.

Recently refurbished, the Westwood Lodge provides good, clean, pleasantly furnished accomodation ideally suited for youth groups, sport teams, or event participants and audiences alike.
